BoomIntro
Broadcast-quality announcer intros for youth sports teams. You upload your roster, pick your music, and about a minute later you have a finished hype track.
The hard part was names. Off-the-shelf text-to-speech mangles half the roster, and getting a kid’s name wrong is the one thing that ruins a team intro. So I built a pronunciation engine to handle it properly.

Best Cell Plan Now
A cell phone plan finder that skips the listicles. You answer a few questions — how many lines, how much data you actually use, what you care about — and it scores every plan it tracks against your real answers, not a generic “best of” list.
The math is the point: it accounts for state taxes, throttling, intro-price cliffs, and the device credits you’d forfeit by switching, so the number you see is the number you’d actually pay.

Say Any Name Right
A free tool for getting unfamiliar names right. Type a name and it gives you a best-guess phonetic spelling; tap any sound to correct it, and it reads the name back in a real voice. Share the link and anyone else can hear exactly how to say it. No signup.
It grew out of the pronunciation work behind BoomIntro — the same problem, pulled out into something coaches, teachers, HR teams and announcers can use on its own.

Conversational AI Agents
Voice agents built on ElevenLabs that answer questions, qualify leads, and book work. I’ve deployed them as embedded widgets, through a custom WordPress plugin I wrote so non-technical staff can manage their own agents, and as a standalone web interface in JavaScript/Vite.

A ministry site for long-haul truckers, built for someone reading on a phone in a cab at a truck stop. Simple, fast, and mobile-first, with a content system the ministry team can run themselves.

Three-Year Bible Reading Plan
Built for my congregation and still in use every week. It tracks progress through the Bible over three years, pairing each week’s New Testament reading with an Old Testament chapter that picks up the same themes — so people who find a full plan too much still get the through-line instead of stalling out.

One Action Step
Goal accountability with real stakes. You set a goal, stake credits on an action, and lose them if you don’t follow through. Email reminders keep you moving on small steps rather than the whole mountain.
Underneath it’s a complete piece of plumbing: user accounts, a credit ledger, subscriptions, and scheduled email, all done end to end.

Digital Detox Program
A 21-day reset for phone habits, currently in development. It runs on daily check-ins, and the follow-up emails are personalized by AI to what the participant actually reported that day. The focus is personal agency and mindfulness rather than the nagging that most accountability apps rely on.
Built on WordPress and WooCommerce for the front end and payments, with Make.com handling the backend automation and email.

A Blessing
AI that generates a blessing from a few simple questions. There is an enormous amount of machine-generated negativity in the world, so I wanted to point the same tools the other way. I’m still fond of the animated background.
Dave’s Bible Plan
I got tired of Bible apps carrying ads or pushing books and TV series, so I built a plain one for myself on a three-year reading cycle. No ads, nothing to upsell.
Built For Fun
Small things, built quickly, mostly because I wanted them to exist.
Old School Letter — Generates a printable letter you fill out and mail to someone. A small analog pushback against digital overload, and a genuinely nice way to stay in touch.
Hockey Gear Check — An online checklist so young players can make sure everything is packed before the next game. Born of necessity, as any hockey parent will understand.
Off The Screen
Not everything I build is software. I also repair and fabricate physical things — vintage electronics, furniture, welding, and the occasional hybrid where a workshop problem needs a technical answer. Details on the repairs and fabrication page.
